 Shanta Washington Villanueva has one of the biggest hearts for special need children and teenagers. She’s married to Derek Villanueva and the mother of 3 beautiful girls and 3 handsome grandsons. She attended Jackson State University and holds a bachelor’s in mass communications. She works for the Mississippi Department of Education in Career and Technical Education. She’s the state advisor for Mississippi Technology Student Association. She’s also the high STEM Program supervisor for the state.

In her spare time she loves to read books and spend time with her family.
